2024 Christmas Break: A Recap

As we all know, Christmas Break is the most awaited holiday for us students because it provides a chance to take a break from assignments, requirements etc. In this blog post, I will talk about how I spent my Christmas break.

To be honest, nothing much happened during the break, as I couldnt travel due to personal reasons. However, we did enjoy a wonderful Noche Buena with the whole family. I also had the opportunity to enjoy my favorite hobbies. I spent my afternoons speed-solving the Rubik's Cube, striving to improve my times, and also engaging in programming/coding, learning new things and tips and tricks about web development.

To sum it up, this year's Christmas break was a good one. I had the chance to relax and de-stress from school by spending time with my family, enjoying delicious food, and enjoying in my favorite hobbies. I especially enjoyed speed-solving the Rubik's Cube. I hope Christmas break will be even better next year, with a longer break and more opportunities to travel

Image Source Basic knowledge of HTML has always been an enlightening moment as it provided a simple basis of how websites work and are created. As far as I know, I learned that HTML means HyperText Markup Language or is the backbone of every page. It defines its contents and layout. I have learned how important syntax and structure are in coding by using tags and elements like <html> , <head> , <body> , and <p> . Through hands-on practice, I was able to create simple web pages with text, images, and links, showing how each line of code contributed to the final visual output. Building Connections: Reflection and Lessons Learned from Our Community-Based Research Project

Through this community-based research (CBR) project, I have learned a lot about how to study real-life problems in the community. I learned how to use research methods and work with the community to collect important information. Working on the web design was also a great experience because I manage to improve my previous skills on how to make websites that are easy to use and show information clearly. This project also showed me how important it is to work together as a team, because everyone has different skills and ideas to share. In the end, this project helped me get better at both research and web design while also learning how to involve the community better.
