We spent weeks practicing for our field demo dance to celebrate the 123rd anniversary of Ilocos Sur National High School. The preparation was exhausting, but every moment was worth it because I genuinely enjoyed the experience. We even made our own props, adding a personal touch to our performance. When the big day finally arrived, we put on our PE uniforms, grabbed our props, and joined our classmates, excited yet nervous for what was ahead. The event started with a 5km parade from 7 AM to 9 AM, which was tiring but also a lot of fun. After the long walk, we went back to our classrooms to eat and recharge before our big performance. As we stepped onto the field, we gave our all, dancing to La Bamba with energy and confidence, hoping to impress the crowd and the judges. When the results were announced, the Grade 10 boys proudly secured second place, while the Grade 10 girls earned fourth place. Even though not everyone won, we were all proud of our efforts.
